China-based smartphone giant OnePlus is all set to launch the OnePlus 6T at a launch event in New York. The company has tried its best to generate hype around the upcoming device with planned teasers and bits of information to give us a rough idea on what to expect from the launch. We already know a couple of important things about the upcoming device including the absence of 3.5-mm audio socket, and inclusion of an optical in-display fingerprint scanner. The company is also expected to go with a water droplet-like notch instead of the iPhone X-like one that was present in the OnePlus 6.
Other details including the presence of Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 along with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage on the device. The device is likely to sport a 6.4-inch FHD+ display with a 16-megapixel primary and 20-megapixel secondary camera sensor on the back of the device. Full specifications of the device seemed to have leaked out on the internet recently. However, the company has not issued any official statement at the time of writing about the leaks so the final specifications may be a bit different.
The event is scheduled to kick off in New York City at 8:30PM according to Indian Standard Time. Initially, the event was scheduled to talk place tomorrow (October 30), but then Apple decided to hold its second hardware launch event on the same day. This prompted OnePlus to prepone the event by a day.
