Once a division of Chinese smartphone maker Oppo, Realme has since split from its parent company in terms of brand identity and gone solo. In the short months of its existence, Realme has already made a huge impact on the Indian smartphone space, thanks to its affordably-priced products and strong value offerings. One of the company’s latest products is also its most affordable, the Realme C1, which goes on sale today at 12:00PM.
Priced at Rs 6,999, the Realme C1 is available in a single configuration with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The phone will be available in limited quantities on Flipkart once the sale commences at 12:00PM, so you will have to move fast if you want to buy it. The device features a notched display and a dual-camera setup at the rear, both previously unheard of features on a device at this price. With its specifications and pricing, the Realme C1 is well positioned to take on the might of the Xiaomi Redmi 6A for dominance over the entry-level Android space.
Realme C1 specifications, features
The Realme C1 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC paired with 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card.
