TCL’s online television brand iFFALCON has launched two new big screen smart Android TVs in India. The 40-inch iFFALCON 40F2A and the 49-inch iFFALCON 49F2A will be available on Flipkart for Rs 19,999 and Rs 27,999 respectively.
Both iFFALCON televisions are Google-certified, and have been built on company’s already popular F2A series. The company claims that F2A series was among the top-six in terms of revenues, and the top-seven in terms of units sold during Flipkart’s Big Billion Day sale. The 32-inch iFFALCON 32F2A was the most popular 32-inch Android smart TV during the Flipkart Big Billion Day sale, while the 55-inch TV by iFFALCON was most-rated on the platform.
iFFALCON notes that all TVs under the F2A series come equipped with IPQ engine, Micro Dimming, Dolby Surround Sound, Google Chromecast, white LED HD backlight and operating on Android 8.0 Oreo.
“iFFALCON has been launched to disrupt the Indian smart TV market with state-of-the-art offerings. The launch of our latest smart TVs, the iFFALCON 40F2A and the iFFALCON 49F2A, is another step towards building a full range of Google-certified Android TVs. We want to create a wide array of technologically-superior entertainment options for the country’s increasingly digital-first consumer base to choose from, thus providing them with greater choice than they have had till date,” Sebastian Dong, Marketing Manager, iFFALCON was quoted as saying.
Chinese electronics company TCL Multimedia introduced iFFALCON brand in India in April. The company had said it aims to sell 200,000 units by the end of this year. iFFALCON is a part of FFALCON Technology Holdings, in which TCL and leading internet content provider Tencent Digital have co-invested.
At present, Sony, Samsung and LG are the top three brands, which together account for almost 90 percent of the Indian TV market. In recent times, we have seen other TV makers such as Xiaomi, Vu and Thomson making name in the Indian market because of competitive pricing.
