Vivo V9 Pro with 4GB RAM is now available for purchase on Flipkart. The smartphone was initially launched in only one storage variant of 6GB RAM and 64GB storage exclusively on Amazon India, and now the company is introducing a lower storage variant as well. The difference between the two models is mainly restricted to the RAM while rest of the hardware remains the same.
Vivo V9 Pro: Price and Offers
The Vivo V9 Pro with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage has a maximum retail price of Rs 17,990, but is available at a market operating price of Rs 15,990. The smartphone comes with an extra Rs 2,000 off on its MRP, and those buying the device can avail no-cost EMIs starting at Rs 2,665 per month. There is exchange benefit up to Rs 14,900, and 10 percent instant discount on SBI Credit cards.
Other offers include 10 percent cashback on payments through PhonePe, and extra 10 percent off up to Rs 1,000 on all prepaid transactions. There is also 10 percent off with Axis Bank Buzz Credit Card. While there is no mention of any benefits from telecom operators, Vivo has partnership with leading players to offer additional data benefits.
Vivo V9 Pro: Specifications and Competition
The Vivo V9 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch LCD display supporting a resolution of 2280×1080 pixels, a taller aspect ratio of 19:9 and a notch at the top. Powering the device is Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. It also supports expandable storage up to 256GB via microSD card slot. There is also a 6GB RAM variant sold exclusively via Amazon India.
For imaging, Vivo has equipped the smartphone with dual 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel rear camera setup. At the front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter with face beautification, group selfie, live photo and other models. The Vivo V9 Pro runs Funtouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo, and is backed by a 3,260mAh battery.

The dual-SIM smartphone comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and comes just as consumers prepare for festive season. Priced at Rs 15,990, Vivo V9 Pro will compete with Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and Nokia 6.1 Plus in the Indian market. Vivo V9 Pro seems like an attractive option especially when you look at the nebula purple variant but the competition in this segment is very tough.
