Asus VivoBook S15, S14 laptops with up to 8th-gen Intel CPUs launched, price starts at Rs 54,990

Expanding its PC portfolio in India, Taiwanese technology major Asus has launched two launched two laptops – VivoBook S15 (S530) and VivoBook S14 (S430) – in the country. Powered by Intel’s eighth-generation CPUs, the laptops are available in multiple configurations. While the S14 series has a starting price of Rs 54,990, the S15 line-up starts at Rs 69,990.

Both VivoBook laptops come with Asus’ ‘ErgoLift’ hinge that lifts the bottom half slightly upwards, making for a more comfortable typing experience. The S15 and S14 are available in five colors – icicle gold, firmament green, silver blue, star grey, and gun metal.

Asus VivoBook S15 (S530)

Having a 15.6-inch ‘NanoEdge’ display with slim bezels and powered by up to Intel’s eighth-generation Core-i7 CPUs, the VivoBook S15 weighs around 1.8kg. With a dual-storage design, the laptop has all modern connectivity features like dual-band Wi-Fi, USB (both Type-C and Type-A), HDMI, and microSD. It also features Nvidia’s GeForce MX150 discrete graphics, which is good enough for most casual games and multimedia editing tasks.

The laptop’s battery features fast-charging support, and Asus claims it can be charged up to 60-percent in just 49 minutes. Asus VivoBook S15 (S530) will be available at all Asus exclusive stores from November 15.

Asus VivoBook S14 (S430)

As the name suggests, the VivoBook S14 has a 14-inch ‘NanoEdge’ display with minimal bezels. Weighing around 1.4kg, the laptop, the S14, like its bigger sibling, is powered by up to Intel’s eighth-generation Core-i7 CPUs. From dual-band 802.11 Wi-Fi to USB Type-C (3.), the VivoBook S14 has all major connectivity features you’d expect in a modern laptop.

Again, there’s Nvidia’s GeForce MX150 discrete graphics on-board, and the fast-charging battery should go from 0 to 60-percent in just 49 minutes. Asus VivoBook S14 (S430) will be available exclusively on Flipkart, starting November 1.
