Honor has just announced its latest offerings for the wearable market, the Honor Band 4 and the Honor Band 4 Running Edition. Honor launched both the wearable devices at the launch event for the Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max. According to a report by PhoneRadar, the Band 4 is similar to the existing Honor Band 3 in terms of design and comes with a non-replaceable band. Both the versions of the band can track sleep with the new “Huawei TruSleep”. The VMall listing of the wearables indicates that the Band 4 is priced at 199 Yuan which amounts to Rs 2,092 and the Band 4 Running Edition is priced at 99 Yuan which amount to Rs 1,040.
Honor Band 4 Specifications
The Band 4 comes with a 0.95-inch AMOLED color display with 2.5D curved glass and support for touch input. The images on the listing page indicate that the band will come with a circular button on the display to make navigation easier. the device is powered by a 100mAh battery and the company claims that it can last up to 6 days with automatic sleep detection and continuous heart rate measurement and up to 14 days with both the features turned off.
The device also comes with a 6-axis motion sensor with an infrared light sensor and heart rate sensor. In terms of connectivity options, the device comes with Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC for mobile payments. The band supports devices running Android 4.4 or later and iOS 9.0 or later.

Honor has also added water resistance for up to 50 meters underwater. Users can also use it to find their paired smartphone or to capture selfies remotely.

The Honor Band 4 Running Edition comes with a user replaceable bands and serves as a smaller and lighter version of the Honor Band 4.It comes with a smaller 0.5-inch monochrome OLED display. Similar to the standard edition, the Band 4 Running Edition comes with a 6-axis motion sensor and features water resistance for up to 50 meters.
It also packs a smaller 77mAh battery that provides battery back up to 12 days. Honor has added Bluetooth 4.2 to the band but it does not come with NFC support.
