Xiaomi’s year old budget segment device Redmi 5A, that has become one of the most sold phones from the company is all set to go for another sale today at 12PM on Flipkart. The Xiaomi Redmi 5A has two variants that people can buy, one that comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage priced at Rs 5,999, and the other one with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage priced at Rs 6,999. The device is going to be on flash sale as usual which means that users will have to be quick in their purchase as stocks run out extremely quick. Xiaomi suggests that users make sure that they are logged in from beforehand and ready to purchase the model they want when the clock strikes 12.
Flipkart has quite a few offers on the Xiaomi Redmi 5A which include a 10 percent instant discount on Mastercard for those using it the first time or in Flipkart’s terms First Online Payment. This will only give a maximum discount of Rs 100 though. 10 percent instant discount with Axis Bank Buzz Credit Card and there are No Cost EMI options as well which start from Rs 2,000 per month. The Xiaomi Redmi 5A comes in four colors of Blue, Gold, Rose Gold, and Grey.

The Xiaomi Redmi 5A flaunts a 5-inch HD display that features resolution of 1280×720 pixels, and an aspect ratio of 16:9. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset, and the internal storage is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.

In the photography department, the device is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash, and PDAF support. Upfront, it features a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture for taking selfies. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS, IR Blaster, and micro-USB. On the software front, the device runs Android Nougat-based MIUI 9. The smartphone also features a 3,000mAh battery that is good enough to last for a day.
