Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, Redmi Note 5 Pro, Mi Note 3 stable MIUI 10 update rolls out

Xiaomi is rolling out stable versions of its in-house mobile operating system, MIUI 10 to the Redmi Note 5, Redmi Note 5 Pro, and Mi Note 3 users. As per users on MIUI forums, the company has just started rolling out this new update to users running Chinese ROMs. Talking about the updates, it looks like there are no major changes except finalizing the code with minor changes to make the update ready for the final roll out.

Moving to the first update for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro users, general improvements in the stability of the operating system and optimizations to the system for better performance. This update is 723MB in size, and brings the build number to MIUI V10.0.1.0.OEICNFH. It is likely that the company may be planning to release the stable version of MIUI 10 to the international market in the coming days if not weeks. Talking about the update on the Xiaomi Mi Note 3, again there are no major changes in the change log.

The update changelog added that it fixes bugs and improves the stability of the system. The update is 1.7GB in size, and brings the MIUI version to MIUI V10.0.2.0.OCHCNFH. The update does not bring the latest August 2018 Android Security Patch.

One thing to note here is that both the updates are based on Android 8.1 Oreo, which means that Xiaomi is with the curve in terms of the Android version when it comes to updating their devices. Xiaomi has not revealed its plans about when the stable version for the MIUI 10 will be rolling out for all the Xiaomi devices in the market.
