After launching the Smart 2, Infinix announced its Android One based smartphone called the Note 5. The smartphone is the successor to the Infinix Note 4 and is going on sale today at 12:00PM on Flipkart. It should be noted that Infinix is only making the base variant of the smartphone available today, which comes with 3G RAM along with 32GB storage and is priced at Rs 9,999. Flipkart will also be offering only two colors out of the three announced, which includes Ice Blue and Milan Black.
Additionally, there are some offers available on the Infinix Note 5. There are no cost EMI options available on the smartphone by HDFC, but ICICI is additionally offering a 5 percent off on EMI transactions made through a credit card. Axis bank is also offering a 5 percent off on Axis Bank Buzz Credit card. Reliance Jio is also joining the bandwagon to offer a Rs 2,200 cashback and 50GB of additional 4GB data.
Infinix Note 5 specifications and features
The Infinix Note 5 flaunts a 5.99-inch FHD+ (2160×1080 pixels) IPS display with 2.5D curved screen and 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P23 octa-core SoC, running alongside the 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage. The internal storage can further be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.

For photography, the smartphone comes equipped with a 12-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and dual-LED flash. Up front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture for taking selfies. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS. The smartphone is backed by a 4,500mAh battery, which supports fast charging capabilities. The Infinix Note 5 runs stock Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box, but being an Android One device should also make it one of the first devices to be in the line to get the latest Android 9 Pie update.
