Vivo V9, X21 price slashed by Rs 4,000; Vivo Y83 gets Rs 1,000 permanent price drop in India

Vivo has slashed prices of the Vivo V9, Vivo Y83, and Vivo X21 in the Indian market with effect from August 27. According to Gadgets360, Vivo India has confirmed that these smartphones will retail at new MOP (Market Operative Price) with price drop of up to Rs 4,000.

The Vivo V9 which was launched at Rs 22,990 will now retail at new MOP of Rs. 18,990, which is a price drop of Rs 4,000, although the device has received subsequent price cuts in the past. As for the high-end Vivo X21, it has also received Rs 4,000 price cut which makes the new MOP as Rs 31,990. The smartphone was lauched in May at Rs 35,990 price tag.

The Vivo Y83 has got Rs 1,000 price cut only, the device will now be available at Rs 13,990. The handset comes in 4GB RAM/ 32GB inbuilt storage and was launched in June at Rs 14,990.

Meanwhile, Vivo has now aggressively started teasing its next launch for India. The company has put up official teaser image of the Vivo V11 Pro showcasing full frontal and rear design of the phone in shiny blue color. It can be seen sporting waterdrop notch-style display upfront, which Vivo is calling the “Halo Fullview Display”, and vertically aligned dual camera module in left corner of the device.

Vivo India has already sent out invites to the media for the launch of Vivo V11 Pro on September 6. The brand ambassador and Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has also been seen holding the V11 Pro in a listing by the company on Amazon India.
