Samsung launched the affordable Galaxy J4 smartphone in June this year. A month after launch, the smartphone got a price cut, and now it has yet again.
Last month, the Galaxy J4’s base variant got a Rs 500 price cut. Post this cut, the price of the 16GB+2GB RAM variant came down to Rs 9,490. Now, according to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom, the top variant has also received a price cut.
This variant, with 32GB storage and 3GB RAM, was launched for Rs 11,990. But now it has received a Rs 1,000 cut, bringing the price tag down to Rs 10,990. It is however unclear if this price cut is permanent or temporary.

Samsung Galaxy J4 specifications, features
To quickly recap, the Samsung Galaxy J4 sports a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display. Under the hood is an Exynos 7570 quad-core SoC. The internal storage on both the variants is expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card.
For photography, the device is equipped with a 13-megapixel f/1.9 aperture camera at the back, and a 5-megapixel f/2.2 aperture selfie camera up front. Both cameras are accompanied by a LED flash to help in shooting photos in low light conditions.

To keep things ticking is a 3,000mAh battery, and on the software front, the device runs Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. Samsung has also added a Made for India feature called ‘Advanced Memory Management’. This feature helps consumers save memory space by automatically directing image and video content from social media applications to the external memory card.
