The 10.or D2 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC, and runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. The UI is a near-stock Android interface, but with some additions in the form of Amazon apps such as Alexa, Kindle, Amazon Prime Music, Amazon Prime Video, and Amazon Shopping. Other apps also exist to control the radio and sound recorder, both useful features designed for the target audience.
As mentioned, you get either 2GB or 3GB of RAM, and 16GB or 32GB of storage. Storage is expandable through a dedicated slot, and the phone also has specific slots for two SIM cards. You get 4G connectivity on both SIM slots, although only one 4G connection can be active at any time. Interestingly, the phone has two microphones with noise cancellation built-in to improve audio on calls, a feature meant specifically for India.
